Yes. Cancel from Settings whenever you like and you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. There are no cancellation fees and no emails trying to talk you out of it.

Yes, in either direction and between monthly and annual billing. Pick the other plan on this page or under Settings → Manage billing. Stripe credits the unused part of your current plan against the new one, and the new limits apply as soon as the switch goes through.

Up to 200 MB per file, with 2,000 server conversions a day. Pro takes files up to 50 MB and free accounts up to 10 MB. Browser tools don't have a plan limit; they're bounded only by your device.

Anything that needs a real conversion engine on our servers: Office, email, Markdown and image formats to PDF, PDF to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Markdown or HTML, and compress, protect, unlock, repair, flatten, PDF/A, grayscale and OCR. Tools that run on your device never count, and neither do conversions that fail. In a batch, each file counts as one conversion.

On Pro and Business, drop several files on any server tool and we convert them one after another, showing each file's progress. Download them one by one or all together as a single zip. If one file fails the rest carry on, and failed files don't count toward your limit.

Browser tools never upload them at all. For server conversions, your file is processed and returned immediately; we don't keep a copy on any plan.

Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see your card details. You're charged when you subscribe and then every month or year until you cancel. Receipts and invoices are available from Settings.

The free plan is the trial: most tools are unlimited and nothing is watermarked, so you can see exactly how ToPDF works before paying. If a paid plan isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of your first payment for a full refund.
